Barangaroo is a spectacular, 22-hectare urban renewal project on the western waterfront of Sydney’s CBD. This $6+ billion development marks the transformation of Sydney’s harbour docklands into a sprawling public, residential and commercial precinct.

At the northern end sits Barangaroo Reserve, a six-hectare harbour parkland offering spectacular views, extensive walking and cycling trails, idyllic coves, unique event spaces and peaceful picnic spots.

To the south, immerse yourself in a world class dining, retail, commercial and residential precinct featuring award-winning architecture alongside a previously inaccessible harbour foreshore.

Positioned between the Reserve and the southern precinct, Central Barangaroo will be the cultural and civic focal point of Barangaroo. Due for completion in 2024, the 5.2-hectare development will provide unparalleled public space for recreation, events and entertainment, coupled with world class retail and commercial on the spectacular harbour foreshore.

Once complete, over half of Barangaroo will be dedicated public space encompassing a continuous harbour promenade, expansive parklands, plazas and coves.

Barangaroo will support a projected target of more than 20,000 permanent jobs, provide a home to 3,500 residents and contribute $2 billion each year to the NSW economy with planned transport links to Sydney’s CBD and beyond.
