The Harbour Control Tower at Barangaroo Reserve has been removed. What was it and why was it removed?

The Harbour Control Tower was an 87-metre concrete tower at Barangaroo Reserve, historically used to control shipping movements in and out of Port Jackson.

Deconstruction of the tower was complete in 2017. A heritage interpretation plan for the Tower was put in place, ensuring the history is preserved for generations to come.
