Barangaroo Reserve has been planted with an astonishing 75,858 Australian native trees and shrubs. Meticulously researched and the biggest project of its kind in Australia, the Reserve now boasts 84 different species native to the Sydney region at the time of European settlement.
Planting at Barangaroo Reserve began in January 2014, with the final tree planted in July 2015 by the NSW Governor with assistance from students at Fort Street Public School.
Impeccably researched for authenticity, all plants were cultivated off-site under specialist conditions at Andreasens Green, one of Australia’s largest wholesale nurseries.
