Thank you for your continued support for the fabulous events we host at Barangaroo and the Cutaway.
This letter is to inform you that the 23rd Biennale of Sydney – titled rīvus – is coming to the Cutaway at Barangaroo Reserve from Saturday 12 March to Sunday 13 June 2022.
The Biennale of Sydney is the most popular and visited international blockbuster exhibition in NSW. It is one of the top biennales in the world – and a leader in this global art movement.
Since 1973, the Biennale has embedded boldly creative art exhibitions and experiences into the everyday life of one of the world’s most diverse and dynamic cities, putting artistic excellence front and centre on the world stage.
The exhibition will be open seven days a week, 10am to 5.30pm, with free admission for all to enjoy. Wednesdays have extended operating hours, from 10am to 9pm, and opening week events on 7 and 9 March will operate until 9pm.
What you can expect
• It is anticipated that there will be 500 to 2,000 visitors per day.
• One vehicle loading zone will be in place at the Cutaway loading dock during site set-up and pack-down.
Work hours
• Site set-up activities will take place from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday from 7 February to 11 March 2022. It is anticipated that there will be extended working hours from 21 February to 7 March, including weekends.
• Pack-down activities will take place from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday from 14-26 June 2022.
